#SorryImNotSorry

I am apart of the dying breed of  girls under the age of 25 who read. & when I say read, I mean books, not magazines, not blogs, not NY Times style section or WWD... BOOKS. I have honestly loved reading since I was little and never stopped. But I'll be honest, I was one of those girls who said they didn't have time to read, which I thought was true due to the fact that I kept myself beyond busy in high school with cheering, dance, work, parties and other things that made me sassy. In the mix of all that scandal I missed reading, so I started making little goals to force myself to read. That helped , but what really helped me was finding things I like. I don't read classics, I read sassy stuff like  ......

The Sorry I'm Not Sorry  by @sororitygirlproblems  series is the most hilarious shit I've ever read in my entire 21 years of life. You don't have to be a sorority girl to relate to Alexa Black and her fucked up situations. If you love wine, tequila, beer, quesadillas, bitch fights and stories of horrible hook up that you aren't in , then you'll love these. I could not stop laughing from the time I started reading it. Not to mention each book is super short so you'll get through each and feel like you've accomplished something because you read all three in an hour!

There's also a pdf file for those of you who don't own a Kindle or Nook.
& if you own an iPhone you can download the Kindle app for free then download the book onto your phone.

Sassy Little Things

Although we are sassy everyday of our lives, there comes a time when something is just so sassy we have to share. This week's Sassy Little Thing  I came across is:

Kris & Bruce Jenner
Well I didn't actually come across it first, my best friend sent it to me and I died of hatred and love.  The Bentley, the G-Wagon, the all black, and of course Kris' BOW!
This picture was found via Kendall Jenner's instagram : kendallnjenner

Disclaimer: I am a bow fanatic, so be ready for my bow craziness.

Stay Sassy.

The Semi-New Yorker....

I have been commuting back and forth to school for about 3 or 4 weeks now and it is really not bad at all. Being a destined lover of New York for years now I enjoy every little experience that puts me closer to being a full blown Yankee. Even if that means I have to almost get abducted at the age of 21 on my first day of classes on my way to Grand Central.  But some really great things happened, I swear ......

Like working Fashion's Night Out at Lord & Taylor on 5th Ave and not getting to see Kim, but having a lovely drunk shopper send the picture she got to my phone . I think the fact that I was working while she was there is the point of it all, that's all that matters. Oh and I saw her friend Johnathan so that counts right?

or  how about,
My first trip to Bendel's!

Maybe I've read/watched way too much Gossip Girl in my day, but I feel like every girl that spends more than 7 hours of her day in New York has to conquer the B's of the city. In case you're not aware of those (which you should be and if you aren't , fix your life) they are : Henri Bendel, Barney's New York , Bergdorf Goodman aka the Head Honcho's of luxury department stores ( Sak's 5th ave too , but that doesn't begin with a B).

but I can't forget Pierre ,

and yes those are not complete Hermes Kelly Bags. One thing I will always love about the city is the unexpected little things I find out are going on. This was at the Hermes Craftsmanship Festival 2012. It was a great way to get your hands on the luxury brand's goods such as the Kelly, scarves, ties, and the horse saddle. I was in  heaven being able to touch all the luxurious leathers and silks, especially the leathers since it'll take me until my mid-life crisis to afford a Kelly bag.

I'm giving myself sometime to be a tourist and enjoy almost touristy things.
stay sassy

On to the Next .....

I must admit, I was slacking on my last blog, I won't lie to you. I think it was because I wasn't too sure where I was going with it, or my life in general. For one , I was a nursing major, yes I said was. I  the yellow brick road to my dreams and applied to fashion school, YOLO. I had no idea I would get in, I highly doubted it, but I did. I am now a a Fashion Merchandising major at LIM College in Manhattan!

The other thing is, on my last blog I was trying too hard. I was being to sweet and too much like all the other blogs I frequent, but let's be real I'm sweet, but not that sweet. Just like every single one of you reading this right now I am sassy. .......

Whether you are the sassy girl urban dictionary thinks you are or not, I know you're sassy. Here's to new beginnings
